Dr. Guohua Xie
Xiamen UniversityChina
Dr. Guohua Xie is currently a Professor at Instititue of Flexible Electronics (IFE, Future Technologies) of Xiamen University, China. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Jilin University (China) in 2011, working on OLED microdisplays. From August 2011, Dr. Xie carried out his postdoctoral research at TU Dresden and Fraunhofer IPMS (Germany), sponsored by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, investigating the stability of OLEDs. Then he worked for an OLED-based interdisciplinary project to treat skin cancer with OLEDs at the University of St Andrews (UK) since 2013. From 2015, he joined the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences of Wuhan University (China), investigating new luminescent organic materials and devices. Dr. Xie joined Xiamen University from 2023, working on the interdisciplinary research of the emerging optoelectronic materials and devices, e.g., organic LEDs, quantum-dot LEDs, and perovskite LEDs. He has co-authored over 250 peer-reviewed publications with an H-index of 53 and contributed to 1 book as the editor-in-chief. In 2020, Dr. Xie has been admitted as a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry.
Prof. Nadhir AI-Ansari

He obtained his BSc and MSC degrees from the University of Baghdad in 1968 and 1972 respectively. He got his PhD degree from Dundee University in Water Resources Engineering in 1976.
Now he is Professor at the department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering at Lulea Technical University Sweden. Previously worked at Baghdad University 1976-1995 then at Al-Bayt University in Jordan (1995- 2007). Research interests are mainly in Geology, Water Resources and Environment. Served several academic administrative posts (Dean, Head of Department). Publications include more than 900 articles in international/national journals, chapters in books and 22 books. He executed more than 60 major research projects in Iraq, Jordan, Sweden, and UK. Awarded several scientific and educational awards, among them is the British Council on its 70th Anniversary awarded him top 5 scientists in Cultural Relations. One patent on Physical methods for the separation of iron oxides. Supervised more than 70 postgraduate students at universities in Iraq, Jordan, UK, Sweden, and Australia. Member of several scientific societies e.g., International Association of Hydrological Sciences, Chartered Institution of Water and Environment Management, IAHR etc. Member of the editorial board of 42 international journals.
Dr. Bingsheng Li

Dr. Bingsheng Li is currently a professor in Northeast Normal University of China. He got his PhD degree from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002. From 2002 to 2012, he carried out research on MBE and PLD in National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology of Japan, The City College of the City University of New York of USA and University of Tokyo of Japan. In 2012, he joined Harbin Institute of Technology as a full professor. In 2019, he moved to Northeast Normal University where he focuses on the epitaxial growth of oxide and nitride thin films for photoelectronic application by MOCVD.
Prof. Hongwei Chen

Hongwei Chen is currently a Full Professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University. He is a senior member of OSA and IEEE. His current research interests include opto-electronic signal processing, photonic intelligence, silicon photonics and microwave photonics. Hongwei Chen has won the gold prize of national invention exhibition in 2017, the first prize of technological invention of Optical Engineering Society in 2019. His scientific achievements have been reported by media including MIT Technology Review, SPIE newsroom, EurekAlerk, China Science Daily, ScienceNet, etc. He is a reviewer for top-rank Nature/IEEE/OSA/SPIE journals and was invited to serve as a technical committee member in high-level international conferences including OFC/CLEO/Photonics West/MWP.

Prof. Seong-woo Woo

Seongwoo Woo, Professor.
Dr Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University.

Professor Atikur Rahman got the Best paper award for the paper “Processing and Characterization of Nanostructured Co-Al coating on Superalloy for high temperature applications” in the category of Physics and Materials in International conference on Applied Sciences and Industrial Technology 2015, Feb 25-26 2015, Grand Lexis Port Dickson, Malaysia.
